Shane S. McCullar grew up in Memphis, TN and northern Mississippi where he attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. After college he entered into the securities industry as an investment broker, acquiring his Series7 license with Morgan Keegan & Co., a NYSE listed brokerage. He later worked for McDonalds Corporation in Chicago, IL. After three years he became the corporate Liaison to McDonalds Corporation for Rubbermaid Corporation on all domestic and international business.

A long time passion, real estate became a reality when he joined Coldwell Banker in the Gold Coast of Chicago where he achieved Rookie of The Year status. Late seeing the new construction was about to explode, he moved to the Belgravia Group, Ltd. as a Director of Sales and Marketing. After building their internal sales force and real estate entity to the highest level of sales in the company’s 50 year history, he was approached by Keller Williams Realty.

The move to Keller Williams Realty was the beginning of a whole new segment in real estate and his life. While launching a new office for Keller Williams on Michigan Avenue, he also manages a 75 person office in West Loop. After the opening of the Gold Coast office, an opportunity came to have an equity stake in a new office in California.

The move to Palo Alto, CA was a risky move since he did not know anyone in the state and more specifically did not have any agents. Within a year and a half of the launch of the Palo Alto office, the office achieved a #1 position in Keller Williams Realty International in owners profit, #1 in GCI and #1 in controllable expenses for a launch. This, with his 130 person office earned him Team Leader of the Year for Northern California, his second consecutive “Black Belt” award for recruiting over 60 agents net per year as well as his third consecutive Growth Partner Award.

After many long conversations, a decision was made to move closer to family in Virginia on the East coast. Building an office for the long term in high end market, Alexandria – Old Town became real in December of 2007 with the approval of Keller Williams Realty international. The goal of the office is to become the premier real estate company in Northern Virginia, both in market share and training in order to reach his agents personal dreams of success.

Shane has a detailed quality approach, values relationships and support for his agents. He is dedicated to the idea of high integrity and working with learning based individuals which is the foundation piece of Keller Williams culture. Shane and his wife Nicole of 16 years with their 3 Cavalier King Charles spaniels – Alexander, Winston and Patton, currently reside in Old Town Alexandria.
